Nancy, who joined our firm in July 2019, grew
up in Delaware County. She received her Bachelor of
Arts degree in Art History, graduating with honors from
Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and her
Master of Business Administration from the University
of Texas-Austin. She received her Juris Doctor from
Capital University School of Law and was admitted to
practice law in Ohio in 1995.
From 1996 to 1997, Nancy was an Assistant
Prosecuting Attorney for the Franklin County
Prosecutor’s Office, where she coordinated and directed
prosecution of civil legal matters and infractions that
encompassed neighborhood environmental issues,
including housing and building standards, sanitation,
air pollution, zoning and annexation issues, fire
safety, and occupant health endangerment. Nancy then
served as Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Michael L.
Close in the 10th District Court of Appeals in Columbus
from 1997 to 1999. From 2000-2012, Nancy was the
Founder and CEO of The Arts Farm, Inc. in Delaware, a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to
combining art with nature. Since 2009, Nancy has served
as a freelance project consultant, providing project
management and support to high profile clients in the
United States and the United Kingdom.
Nancy is admitted to practice before all courts in Ohio and is a member of the Delaware County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Nancy is a member of the Delaware Rotary Club. In her spare time,
she invests in her many
other loves and passions. A lifelong horse and animal
lover, Nancy tends to and trains award-winning American
Saddlebred horses. Her love of learning has led her to
take dozens of auxiliary courses. Last, but not least,
her love of family and her church are at the highest
level of priority. Nancy is the proud aunt of nine
nieces and nephews (and their spouses), as well as
sixteen great-nieces and nephews. It is her greatest
joy to watch them grow, serve them in times of trial
and in joy, and to see them happy.
