Joan is a 1985 graduate of Columbus Technical Institute (now Columbus State Community College), where she received her degree in Associates of Applied Science (Legal Secretary).

She joined the firm as a secretary intern in December 1984, and became a full-time secretary in June 1985. After serving as the secretary in our Estate Planning and Estate Administration group for 11 years, Joan became the firm's Accounting/ Information Services Manager in 1996, performing billing and bookkeeping duties, recommending computer software and hardware purchases, training attorneys and staff on new software and computers. 

Joan also serves as Legal Assistant to Dennis Pergram and Stacy Pollock and provides paralegal assistance to our Business, Employment, and Estate Planning and Administration Practice Groups.  In addition, Joan maintains the firm's web page and prepares the firm's various brochures and other publishing materials. 

Joan and her husband, Kurt, who are avid Buckeye fans, reside in Delaware County.
