Stacy, who joined our firm as “of counsel” on
July 1, 2021, is a native of Worthington, Ohio.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum
Laude, in English, from Wittenberg University in 2002.
She received her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College
of Law in Chicago, Illinois in May 2005.
Stacy advises public and private sector
employers and school administrators in a variety of
employment matters. A significant portion of her
practice is devoted to advising clients on human
resources issues with the goal of avoiding litigation.
She also represents clients before various government
agencies, including the Ohio Civil Rights Commission,
the Equal Employment Opportunity Com‑ mission, the
State Personnel Board of Review, the Ohio Industrial
Commission, the Ohio Department of Education and the
Ohio Unemployment Compensation Review Commission. Stacy
also advises and represents management in labor
contract negotiations, grievance processes and labor
arbitration.
Stacy was recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer
in Employment Law (2021), a “Rising Star” Ohio Super
Lawyers, Employment (2014-2020) and a Best Lawyers in
America, Education Law (2016-2021). She has
served on the Center for Science and Industry (COSI)
Community Board, the Homeport Young Professionals
Group, the Rosemont Center Young Professionals Group
and was a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Central Ohio.
Stacy is admitted to practice before all
courts in Ohio, all state courts in the Commonwealth of
Kentucky, the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
She is a Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment
through the Ohio State Bar Association and is a member
of the Society for Human Resources and Management and
the Ohio State Bar Association Labor and Employment
Section.
She and her husband reside in Dublin with
their daughter. Stacy enjoys being active in the
community with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and is a
member of the Homeless Families Foundation Board of
Trustees.
